While working for Grand Cru Selections, a fine wine importer and distributor, I was responsible for hosting events when winemakers would travel to Los Angeles. We oversaw visits from at least two winemakers per month, hosting tasting events for prospective buyers, consumer-facing wine dinners and other wine tasting opportunities.
